Nights of Summer is BACK: Escape the Pavement, Embrace the Grass!

Beat the heat and give your body a break from the scorching pavement. This untimed 2-mile run takes place entirely on the grassy perimeter of the ball fields at Chappapeela Sports Park.

This event is perfect for:
- Seasoned runners looking for a change of scenery
- Beginner runners wanting to try a softer surface
- High school and middle school cross country runners
- Walkers seeking a fun, social evening activity

After the run, cool down with water, and refreshing iced towels! (maybe even run through the Splash Pad)

Nights of Summer is hosted by the Hammond Area Recreation Department, FRESHJUNKIE Racing, the Tangi Running Club, & the Run Gulf Coast Foundation.
