The newly reformed Oswald Cobblepot is throwing a gala fundraiser for the less fortunate souls at Arkham Asylum. You are invited to join Bruce Wayne, Selina Kyle, and Commissioner Gordon for a three-course meal courtesy of One Thirteen Executive Chef Ryan Haigler and Candlestick Bakery, along with drinks from Todd DeLaune’s Red, White and Brew. But beware! Whenever Gotham City’s finest are all gathered in one place, some of the world’s most fearsome villains are often lurking in the shadows. If things get rough, you may be called upon to lend the Caped Crusader a hand.
Hammond Live: The Drunk Uncles
Our first Hammond Live of the fall is here! Join us Friday, September 18th from 5:30 to 8PM at Railroad Park for an evening of free live music in the heart of Downtown Hammond. Bring your lawn chairs and settle in for a night of music. Railroad Park has limited shade, so consider a hat or sunscreen if you're arriving before sunset. Several Downtown Hammond restaurants will be running specials for the night, so grab dinner and drinks before or after the show. Free and open to all ages.

Each year through its fundraising efforts, the Richard Murphy Hospice Foundation provides funding for hospice care for terminally ill patients who do not have the means to pay. The Playback Theory is back with a high-energy celebration of iconic songs from unforgettable soundtracks—spanning cult classics, epic blockbusters, Broadway hits, and pop-culture moments you know by heart. Whether you’re here for the nostalgia, the drama, or just the joy of screaming lyrics from your favorite films, this concert is a love letter to soundtrack songs that stole the spotlight and never gave it back. Lights up, volume high—this is one you’ll feel long after the final note. Part of the Columbia Theatre’s Concerts for a Cause series. This concert is a fundraiser for the Snoballs, a local performing group that provides scholarships for area youth to attend summer camps in art, music, dance, and theatre. VIP ticket includes loge seating and a reusable, spill-proof Columbia Theatre tumbler.

The Columbia’s back to school tradition continues by taking you back to flight school as this 1980s classic celebrates its 40th anniversary! Tom Cruise, a legendary soundtrack, and incredible combat flight sequences helped make this movie the highest grossing movie in the world back in 1986. Columbia’s Resident Film Historian, Dr. Jason Landrum, will introduce the film and share some fun facts about its making, massive influence, and enduring legacy.
