Save the Date: Art of the Cocktail a Whimsical Return on February 28, 2026

Hammond, LA – The Hammond Regional Arts Center (HRAC) is excited to announce its signature fundraiser, Art of the Cocktail, will take place on Saturday, February 28, 2026. Hosted at the Hammond Regional Arts Center, 217 East Thomas Street in downtown Hammond, the event blends playful competition, immersive theming, and community celebration—all in support of arts and cultural programming throughout Tangipahoa Parish. This year’s theme, “Golden Ticket,” features an evening where art, imagination, and cocktails collide. Tickets are available now at www.hammondarts.org.

Attendees will enjoy a cocktail tasting experience featuring whimsical creations from bars and restaurants across the region, each competing for the title of “Best Cocktail 2026.” Two awards will be presented at the end of the night—the People’s Choice Award, selected by attendees, and the Judge’s Award, determined by three secret judges. The event is open to guests 21 and older, and votes will be cast digitally throughout the evening, making a phone required for participation. Guests can also elevate their experience with VIP tickets, which include access to an exclusive VIP hour from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m., complimentary appetizer bites, and an additional vote for their favorite cocktails.

The 2025 winners of both the People's Choice (Truth Courtside Hookah Lounge) and the Judge's Award (The SteaKhouse) are excited to return this year to defend their titles and vie for the 2026 award.

Participating bars and restaurants include, but not limited to, The SteaKhouse, The Spot, Our Mom’s Restaurant, Mariner’s Inn, Cate Street Seafood Station, Cena; Hammond, Truth Courtside Hookah Lounge, Jacmel Inn, Nola Mia Pizzeria, Benteaux, and The Depeaux.

Community partnership support for the event comes from Tangipahoa Tourism, UMS, Gulf Coast Bank & Trust, Picsey Photobooth, Northshore Media Group, Lamar Advertising, Sophisticated Woman Magazine, Romano Promo, Nortech, First Guaranty Bank, Anderson Traylor Edwards, Elite Title Solutions, and Gabriel Building Supply.

HRAC extends heartfelt thanks to everyone supporting the 2026 event and invites the community to mark their calendars for February 28, 2026. To purchase tickets or find more information, visit www.hammondarts.org.
