Heavily driven by her faith, Kristen has always felt the need to bless others. “We want them to be able to come in and find that unique one of a kind, ‘Hey, my grandma had that! I want to buy that.’ While it may be a true vintage piece, our prices are very flexible.” Kristen explains that she provides a mix of higher to lower priced items so that those in need have the ability to afford necessities.
Now partnered with twenty-five local vendors, Rustic Treasures prides itself on having a unique catalog. “We posted that we were looking for some vendors. So they started coming in. They were interested in being here and being a part of the business and helping it grow. I think each individual one is very artistic in their own way.”
Kristen Pedigo keeps affordable necessities alongside vintage finds, part of her mission to bless others.

Kristen met her husband in 2012 when a friend introduced them to one another. After the couple married in 2014, Kristen’s husband gifted her a business of her own, Pedigo Furniture and Rustic Treasures. Over the years, the business has seen its fair share of challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic, which caused many local businesses to merge or halt operation. “So we merged our businesses together, and then we just decided one day to pick back up where we left off, I guess, and the rest is history.” Kristen continues to help those in her local community and is looking forward to watching Rustic Treasures grow.
Pedigo Furniture & Rustic Treasures is officially open to the public, located at 217 S Cypress Street. Stop by and shop Wednesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
