The Compliance Officer is responsible for developing, implementing and administering all aspects of the Bank's Compliance Management Program.  This position plans, organizes, and controls the Bank's day to day administrative, lending and operational compliance activities; collaborates with key management in the overall administration of these directives for the Bank.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Business Administration or related field or equivalent relevant work experience. A compliance certification CRCM certification is desirable.

  • A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in the banking industry with at least 5 in regulatory, compliance, audit, and/or credit administration experience.

  • Direct compliance experience in a large community bank (approximately 1 to 3 billion) is desirable

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a highly visible, fast paced, ever-changing environment.

  • Ability to collaborate and form effective working relationships with other risk management professionals.
