Fun Friday At The Hammond Regional Arts Center
Unplug, get creative, and enjoy a relaxing afternoon of art at Fun Friday! This free, self-guided creative experience invites participants of all ages to drop in anytime between 2:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. and create at their own pace.
The Hammond Regional Arts Center will provide a variety of art supplies for drawing, painting, collage, and simple crafts. Art instructor Shayla Kelly will be on hand throughout the afternoon to offer creative tips, inspiration, and encouragement. You're also welcome to bring your own favorite art materials.

Homecoming Opening Reception
Homecoming is a portrait exhibition by Robby Klein that explores the meaning of returning home and seeing the familiar through a new lens. Through intimate portraits and the stories behind them, Klein invites viewers to rediscover community, connection, and the people who shape the places we call home. Join us for the opening reception at the Hammond Regional Arts Center to experience this compelling collection of photographs.

Self-Portrait Poetry Workshop
A poetry workshop in which participants will be writing and discussing self-reflective poems. $10/person, ages 12 and up

Craft Night with a Queen
"King, Queen, or Creature?" Participants (18+) will be invited to unleash their inner drag persona—be it a King, Queen, or otherworldly Creature—through the art of paper collage. Tuffy will guide the group in creating "drag self-portraits," offering creative prompts and even helping participants choose their own drag names. The vibe is "Art Class meets Happy Hour"—high on creativity, low on pressure, and full of community spirit.
