Hammond Firefighters 9/11 Memorial Run
Join the community for a 5K and 1-mile fun run honoring Hammond's local firefighters. This family-friendly event starts and finishes at Cate Square Park, with the 5K route looping through Southeastern Louisiana University's campus before returning downtown. All runners receive a finisher medal and a t-shirt, and this year's race will be timed, with awards for top overall finishers and age group winners. Proceeds support local nonprofit programs supported by Hammond's fire department.
Packet pick-up is available Thursday, September 17 and Friday, September 18 at Perfectly Fit, or on race morning at Cate Square Park.
