In January 2025, Emiley Kinchen opened the doors to Precious Prints Ultrasound Studio & Boutique, creating a space that feels equal parts boutique, studio, and home. Now a year and a half in, the business is fully staffed and ready to welcome families at every stage of their pregnancy journey.
Located right across from PJ's Coffee in Downtown Hammond, Precious Prints is designed to be a one-stop shop for expecting parents and their loved ones. Inside, you’ll find far more than just ultrasounds. The boutique offers baby clothes, gifts, heartbeat stuffies, and gender reveal items, along with thoughtful touches for the entire family. From embroidered shirts for parents and family members to announcement pieces that even include pets, everything is curated to help families celebrate each milestone together.
On the medical side, Precious Prints offers a range of ultrasound services, including check-up scans with measurements and heartbeat monitoring, gender scans, and 3D imaging. Families can also opt for blood testing for early gender results. For those looking for a more comprehensive experience, the Pregnancy Experience Package bundles multiple visits, including check-ups, a gender scan or blood test, a 3D session, a heartbeat animal, and a boutique discount. For Emiley, that connection is everything. She became a sonographer in April 2021 and quickly realized her passion was in obstetrics. After working in the field and gaining experience at another 3D ultrasound studio, she felt called to create something of her own. Encouraged by her husband and supported by her family, she took the leap and brought her vision to life in Downtown Hammond.
A Loranger native, Emiley approached the space with intention. The design blends rich velvet greens, warm golds, and exposed brick to create an atmosphere that feels both elevated and inviting. She describes it as a mix of luxury and home, and that balance carries through in every interaction. At any given appointment, she’s not just the sonographer. She’s also a host, a cheerleader, and a steady, reassuring presence.

Emiley has already had the opportunity to work with mothers through multiple pregnancies, building relationships that extend far beyond a single visit. She remembers details about each family, celebrates their milestones, and genuinely roots for them every step of the way.
