First Guaranty Bank is searching for a Senior Appraiser to oversee the engagement, review, and compliance of real estate appraisals obtained from independent fee appraisers, and the development of evaluations completed by the Appraisal Review Department (ARD).

Qualifications:

  • Certified General Appraiser designation.

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, or a related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial real estate appraisal and review.

  • Experience performing compliance and technical appraisal reviews.

  • Experience with complex property types and high-value appraisals.

  • Membership in professional appraisal organizations (e.g., Appraisal Institute).

  • Familiarity with local market conditions and trends.

  • Continuing education in appraisal methodologies and industry developments.
