The Downtown Development District is proud to announce the return of its outdoor concert series, Hammond Live—a revival of the Picnic in the Park series that brings live music and community connection to Cate Square Park.
Hammond Live is a free outdoor community concert series and open to all ages. Guests are invited to bring lawn chairs or picnic blankets and enjoy an evening of live music under the oaks. Drinks and limited food will be available for sale on-site. Attendees are encouraged to explore Downtown Hammond’s local restaurants for dinner and drinks before, during, or after the show. Portable restrooms and a handwashing station will be provided for public use.
Friday, July 18th | Will Vance & The Kinfolk + Incubators
Continuing the energy for July, we’ve invited two Hammond staples, the Incubators, playing from 5:00 to 6:00 PM, and Will Vance & the Kinfolk closing out the night from 6:30 to 8:00 PM.

Food vending opportunities for Hammond Live are available to businesses located within the Downtown Development District and Hammond-area non-profits (civic clubs, school groups, etc). Two food booth spaces are available for each event date. No drink sales allowed without DDD approval.
